THE CULTURAL EXPOSE
Paul Bettany (The Young Victoria, Master & Commander, The Da Vinci Code) and Olivia Williams (Hanna, The Ghost Writer, An Education) front a stellar British cast in a powerful and emotional journey of love, obligation, and conflict, set against the backdrop of London’s multi-cultural suburbia.
Helmed by British director and BAFTA Award nominee Sallie Aprahamian in her debut feature film, and co-written by cast members Doraly Rosa (Mrs Henderson Presents, Love Actually) and Dan Fredenburgh (The Bourne Ultimatum, Love Actually), BROKEN LINES is a romantic tragedy that accentuates the very best in contemporary British cinema and seeks to answer an ultimate truth: to whom do we owe loyalty and why?
After the sudden death of his father, a newly-engaged Jewish man (Dan Fredenburgh) plunges into a charged love affair with an attached young waitress (Doraly Rosa). Both are searching for happiness and don’t want to give up on their life-long dreams, but are trapped by their existing responsibilities to the lives they have already created.
Bonus features include a 30-minute documentary “The Making of Broken Lines”, exclusive interviews with stars Paul Bettany, Dan Fredenburgh and Doraly Rosa and director Sallie Aprahamian, stills gallery and theatrical trailer.
