"Performed with conviction and directed with verve, Any Way the Wind Blows rates as one of the most mature and ambitious debuts in years, wafting in a great new talent for Belgium's cinema scene."

Belgian musician TOM BARMAN, founder of the rock band dEUS and concept group MAGNUS, with techno phrophet, CJ Bolland, has made a wild, ambitious debut that draws its influences from sources as varied as Woody Allen, P.T. Anderson, Frank Zappa (whose song gives the film its title) and Jeff Wall. Playing out to a killer soundtrack, Barman's slice of life film is filled with family crises, romantic entanglements and eccentric coincidences. An auspicious and playful debut, this film moves, and doesn't want to stop.
